Rod entered the business in 1984 as a sales consultant for one of the nation’s largest employee benefit brokerage firms. After tours of duty in both the Northwest and Northeast as consultant, manager, product and marketing advisor, Rod returned to Portland, Ore. to begin developing his own company. Rod joined with partner Bruce Kerr to found The Partners Group. Today Rod is the President and CEO of The Partners Group, one of the largest independent financial services firms in the Pacific Northwest, serving more than 600 employers and the personal needs of over 5,000 successful physicians, dentists and executives. Rod has a degree in Political Science from Oregon State University and earned his Registered Health Underwriter advanced degree from The American College. He is a long time member of the national and Oregon chapters of the National Association of Health Underwriters and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. Rod is the Founder and Managing Partner of Collaboration Centric Solutions. Rod sits on the executive advisory councils of United Healthcare and Premera, the board of advisors for ScionInspire, a privately-held thought leader in healthcare and is a Trustee of Legacy Meridian Park Hospital Foundation. He is a past Board Chair of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Oregon and Washington Chapters, and Portland Children’s Museum and currently serves on the board of elders of Willamette Christian Church.
A founder of The Partners Group, Bruce exemplifies dedication to clients, employees, family and community. His leadership extends beyond The Partners Group into many worthwhile organizations. He is president of the Down Syndrome Network Oregon Board and serves on the board of the Cascade Pacific Council Boy Scouts of America, the Down Syndrome Network Oregon and the Karen Gaffney Foundation. His previous leadership positions include Children’s Museum leadership council, Legatus president and membership chairman, president of the Rotary Club of Portland, and the boards of the Rotary Club of Portland, Rotary Charitable Trust, Portland Parks Foundation, Rose Festival Association Foundation and the Guardian Life Executive Committee. Bruce has been honored with Rotary’s Ken Bement Award and the Portland Mayor’s Spirit of Light Award.

Bill has a rich and storied professional legacy. In addition to founding the Baldwin Group, Bill has served as an inspiring leader in a variety of positions. He was president of the Washington Policy Center, founder of Insurance Associates, served as adjunct faculty in M.B.A. programs and legal seminars, and even worked as a police officer. Bill is involved in many professional organizations. He is the chair of the Strategic Planning Committee for IBA West, Northwest chapter president of the Western Association of Insurance Brokers, committee chairman of the School of Hospitality Management at Washington State University, and a member of the board of the Foundation for Economic Education, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, City Club, and many other organizations. Bill provides exceptional service to clients in strategic, business and marketing planning, risk management, disaster preparedness, employment practices liability, organization and human resource development, acquisitions and mergers, and more. Bill Meacham, principal and founder of The Meacham Group, is a Life member of the Million Dollar Round Table. He is past president of the Washington Association of Health Underwriters and a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters and the International Foundation of Employee Benefits. He has served on the board of the Association of Washington Business for eight years, including on the health care committee. He has worked for many years with members of the legislature in Olympia and members of Congress in Washington, D.C. on life and health insurance issues that benefit employers and employees in our state. He also served on the State Insurance Commissioners’ Agents Advisory Board. He attended Olympic College and Washington State University and served in the Marine Corps Reserve.
