The former president of a large Seattle based regional broker, and managing director, regional director and CEO of Willis in Oregon and Washington , Mike uses his experience to help clients in hospitality, construction, manufacturing, health care and more in a variety of commercial insurance areas, including risk management, acquisitions and mergers, strategic planning and broker compensation. He is a graduate of Lewis and Clark College with continuing education from the University of Oregon and Harvard Business School. Kathleen has over 30 years of Property and Casualty insurance experience on both the retail and carrier side of the business. During that time, she worked for both small agencies and large brokerage firms. Kathleen has been a member of the Commercial Insurance team at The Partners Group for nearly seven years and has her CIC designation from The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research. She specializes in retail brokerage management and marketing, client service, account management, quality control and process development. Kathleen is a proud multi-generational Washington native and has family that settled in the region after traveling the Oregon Trail, in addition to some Native American ancestry. Outside of work Kathleen has been a long-time supporter of Camp Fire Boys and Girls and enjoys spending time on the Puget Sound with her family, whether it is boating, fishing or beachcombing.

Mike brings an extensive claims background and more than 15 years of commercial property and casualty insurance experience to The Partners Group. His primary focus is on commercial real estate, condominium associations, apartment complexes, remediation contractors, pharmacies and health care industries. Prior to joining TPG, Mike spent three years at a local agency building a book of business and 11 years at a national insurance company working in their claims department. Mike earned his Bachelor of the Arts degree from the University of Washington and holds property and casualty, life, health and disability insurance licenses. Mike is a native of Washington and very active in local community, serving as President Emeritus of King County Explorer Search and Rescue and is a member of Seattle Mountain Rescue. He also serves on the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of Washington (IIABW) Young Agents Committee.

Don is a risk management expert who is specialized in providing expertise in enterprise risk management; risk assessment and quantification; property and casualty insurance; alternative risk financing; total cost of risk analysis; risk information systems; and risk control programs. In addition to serving as the instructor and founding advisor for Bellevue College’s Certificate in Risk Management program, Don was a partner at the risk management firm S&V Partners LLC, served as senior vice president at Marsh USA, and was regional director of risk control services for Crawford & Company. Don is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the Insurance Institute of America. He is also a member of the Risk & Insurance Management Society (RIMS). Driven by a dedication to serve others, Don assists in a variety of community endeavors, including Boys & Girls Clubs of King County, Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestras, the Tour de Cure, and Instruments of Peace. He enjoys singing and playing guitar with his wife of 37 years and spending time with his adult children.
